Massullo, David (JROTC)

I am originally a Morgantown, West Virginia native who retired after serving 27 years in the US Army. I began my career as a Field Artilleryman taking his Basic Training in 1979 at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, then attended Airborne School at Ft. Benning, GA., before being assigned to the 82d Airborne Division Artillery at Ft. Bragg, NC. My assignments from there included; Ft. Lewis, WA., Schofield Barracks, HI., Ft. Greely, AK., and Ft. Carson, CO. with additional tours of duty at Camps Essayons and Pelham, Republic of Korea. I have had numerous training assignments in various places such as Germany, Thailand, Egypt and Canada.

During my career, I attended all the service schools from the Primary Non-commissioned Officers Course for Combat Arms to the U.S. Army Command Sergeants Major Course, excelling in each. I have also certified at the Winter Mountain Warfare Course in addition to the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute.  

The latter years of my career, I served as the 2nd Brigade, 4th Region ROTC Brigade Sergeant Major before taking an assignment as the Command Sergeant Major, 49th Missile Defense Battalion at Ft. Greely Alaska. Retiring out of Alaska, I moved back to Colorado Springs, CO, working for 3 years as the Fitness Supervisor for the Broadmoor Hotel and Resort.

My other certifications include, Personal Fitness Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Youth and Teen Fitness Instructor, and Sports Nutritionist to name a few. I worked as a strength coach at Fountain Ft. Carson High School and he developed the fitness training programs for the Ft. Greely Physical Fitness Center at Ft. Greely, Alaska.

I am a graduate of St. Francis High School, Morgantown WV and hold a bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies from Excelsior College of New York.

I have worked as an Army JROTC Instructor at Seneca Valley and Trinity High Schools in Pennsylvania before coming to Charles D Owen.

My beautiful wife Michelle and I have a home in Horse Shoe NC that we share with our 2 Dachshunds.
