Animal Science II Small Animal Course

Looking forward to teaching you all through Canvas this year. I will be using Zoom as our platform for the synchronous instruction.

Course Description:

This course covers instruction that expands upon the knowledge and skills developed in Animal Science I.  Topics include small companion animal issues, genetics, breeding, diseases, nutrition, management, anatomy and physiology. The course will be carried out through classroom instruction, lab activities, guest speakers, and field trips when possible. Additionally, as FFA members, they will have the opportunity to travel, participate in competitive events, community projects, and recreational activities.

We will be using Canvas as our course management system. I am still working on it and it will change throughout the semester, but the main structure of the course is visible to you.

Unfortunately, we do not have any animals on campus now.

Finally, if you are having technical issues with your iPad or laptop, please visit VirtualDays.buncombeschools.org for Help Desk information and helpful videos.
