About Me

Before moving to Asheville, I taught Visual Art in Knoxville, TN. I earned Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Lincoln Memorial University in 2012.  Prior to that, I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta with a BFA in Studio Art. I also hold an Associate’s degree in Video Production. I have worked in management, television and film, photography, and as an artist showing work locally, regionally and nationally. I returned to school to pursue my lifelong dream of being a teacher, and I love my job. I am so excited to share the combination of the knowledge and expertise I gained through my education and experiences with my students.  It truly is a joy for me to see students succeed and excel in self-expressive and creative ways.
