Intermediate Art (Art 2)

Intermediate Art (Art 2) is designed to continue building on the knowledge and skills acquired in Beginning Art.  Since skill in drawing is basic to being able to express your ideas in many forms of media, we will begin the term by concentrating on improving and refining the drawing skills which you already possess. Additional skill development will occur through the manipulation and mastery of a variety of media including (but not limited to); various paints, clay, computer technology, and an array of sculpture material. Collaboration with other students will be fostered and encouraged via frequent presentation and critique of completed artwork. You will also be expected to correlate discussion of your own creative efforts with relevant artists and periods of art history.

REQUIRED -- Passing Grade in Beginning Art.
RECOMMENDED -- Final grade of a C (70) or higher in Beginning Art.
