Grading Policy
  • All work completed in the classroom and for homework is graded either with a grade for accuracy (content) or for completing it (following directions).  The majority of homework can be found on the CANVAS site, a learning management system.  There will be some work completed in the classroom.
  •
  • IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT TO ASK FOR THE WORK WHEN HE/SHE RETURNS TO SCHOOL FROM An ABSENCE.

  • If the student completes the assigned work as expected, he/she will not need extra credit.
  • Students having less than a 70 or better average will be assigned SMARTlunch tutoring/makeup to improve grades.

                How grades count:

    •                                Tests=30%
                                   Daily work=70%

                               Total=100%
